The Kid Cracks Me Up
Whenever we are getting ready to go somewhere I ask Demitri if he wants to bring something with us. He usually gets a car or a book, sometimes he brings his blanket. A lot of the times he will carry his goodies but sometimes he wants me to and will put them in my purse. I was getting ready to go out to dinner tonight when I found this little surprise in my purse

I Am Not Colorblind
Demitri picked his own outfit tonight and was very proud of himself. I tried to tell him that it did not match but he insisted on wearing it. As you can see in the picture, he wanted to tell anybody who would listen that he picked his clothes. Right at that moment he was telling Nana all about what he had done.

My Boys
The three of us went to the park after dinner and the sun was setting and I caught them looking at the sunset together. I think they look sweet together.

Sunday is Beachday
After I got off of work we headed to the beach. We all love our Sunday beach ritual and Demitri seems to be getting used to the water. The fog rolled in at the beach so we stopped at Nana's and went for a swim in her pool before going home. We had a great day!

Helping Daddy At The Studio
Demitri and I went to visit Daddy at the studio and Demitri thought that Daddy needed a little help sweeping up. He is such a good little helper.

Demitri's New Ride
Nana bought Demitri this tricycle. He has been playing with it quite a bit but I have not been able to get a picture until now. His feet are now just reaching the pedals and he is finally understanding how to make it move although he still needs our help. P.S. Don't laugh at his hairstyle , it was really hot out.

No Nap + Dinner Out =
Nana and I took Demitri to Super Mex tonight. He fought so hard to keep his eyes open. He kept dozing off in between bites of food but he was just too tired and he passed out without finishing his dinner.

Mama's Favorite Book
This is a really sweet story but I love it for another reason. Whenever I read it to Demitri, I get showered in kisses. He is very generous with his smooches but I love how he is ready with them right on cue when the story calls for them. He is such a smartie pants ...just like you know who.

What We Are Watching
I turned on the tv a little early the other day for Sesame Street and there they were. The Teletubbies. My son's new obsession. He walks around the house saying TaTa and I know he means Teletubbies. These creatures scare me a little bit but they fascinate Demitri. Nothing has ever kept his attention like the Teletubbies do. He giggles and dances and even talks to the screen. He loves these guys. I think that the subliminal messages even got to me because I found myself buying a Teletubbies DVD at Toys R US. I wanted to put it back but it was cheap and I just couldn't. I guess I have fallen under the spell too.

Do They Accept One Year Old's in the PGA?
Joe is thrilled that Demitri is interested in golf and actually has a good swing. The kid may be a jock because he seems to know what he is doing.

Demitri's BFF is MIA
Demitri's best buddy, Samy, has been missing for a couple of days now. Demitri is sad as we wake up every morning and feed Sam and give him treats. Demitri is saying treats all of the time. He does not understand that Samy is gone. I hope that Samy is taking an extended walkabout and will be back, for D's sake.
